My cover of Coldplay’s “Yellow” comes from years of performing the song live in piano bars while working on cruise ships around the world. Night after night, it proved to be one of those rare songs that consistently resonated with audiences — simple, emotional, and timeless.

After living with it for so long on stage, I felt inspired to step into the studio and explore it more personally. This arrangement stays true to the heart of the original while allowing space for my own musical voice to come through.

I approached the production with an atmospheric, slightly cinematic feel — leaning into ambient textures, open piano voicings, and a more spacious mix to let the emotion of the song breathe.

It’s a respectful reinterpretation shaped by years of live performance, capturing both the intimacy of the piano bar and a more expansive, reflective sonic landscape.
